Devin and Sofia got married on August 20, 2026, at Waterfall Lodge & Retreat in Ben Lomond, a summer wedding tucked into the redwoods of the Santa Cruz Mountains.

Their day was never rushed. It was lively and full of energy, and above all, it was full of their people. Friends and family did the florals and the hair, married them, and even sang at the reception. Everyone there meant something to them, and you could feel it all day.

More than anything, Devin and Sofia were relaxed and flexible. They trusted me with the photographs, which left them free to do exactly what a wedding day is for: being present with the people they love.

A reception full of their people

Dinner was served at long tables under string lights in the redwoods, with heartfelt toasts, plenty of hugs, and a grand entrance, complete with a flip, that set the tone for the rest of the night.
